Healthy Home Services | Safe and Effective Cleaning Solutions by Made New Again
At Made New Again, we offer comprehensive Healthy Home Services designed to eliminate harmful bio-contaminants and prevent cross-contamination in your home or workplace. Our advanced cleaning methods and non-toxic biocides ensure a safer, healthier environment by attacking germs, bacteria, mold, and other dangerous microbes at their source.
What is Cross-Contamination?
Cross-contamination occurs when harmful germs, bacteria, or other contaminants are transferred from one surface to another, often through touch. This can spread infections and illnesses as people unknowingly come into contact with contaminated surfaces and then transfer those contaminants to others. Cross-contamination is a major concern in both residential homes and workplaces, where frequent contact with surfaces is common.
Our Safe and Effective Biocide Treatment
At Made New Again, we use a safe, non-toxic biocide that effectively breaks down and destroys harmful contaminants, including:
- Germs
- Bacteria
- Mold
- Mildew
- Viruses
Our biocide treatment doesn’t just kill contaminants on contact—it continues to protect surfaces by preventing re-contamination. After the initial cleaning, we apply a specialized protectant that kills any contaminants that attempt to reattach to the treated surfaces. Unlike traditional chemical disinfectants, our products are environmentally friendly and free from toxic side effects commonly found in store-bought cleaners.
The Limitations of Traditional Disinfectants
Many common disinfectants have become ineffective against mutated germs and bacteria that have developed immunity. This is especially concerning in the healthcare industry, where antibiotic-resistant bacteria pose a serious threat. Our biocide treatment, however, works differently. It uses electrical and mechanical methods to kill germs and viruses, preventing any chance for mutation. The organisms are eliminated immediately and completely.
Electrostatic Spray Technology for Maximum Coverage
Our biocide products are applied using state-of-the-art electrostatic spray technology, which ensures complete coverage of every surface. This innovative technology creates an enveloping mist that coats all surfaces, including hard-to-reach areas like under tables, counters, and inside tight spaces. This method guarantees that every part of your home or workplace is fully disinfected and protected from harmful contaminants.

FAQs
Biofilm is formed when microorganisms find a receptive environment and exposed to food and moisture. The microorganisms work together as a population and secrete sticky polymers that form a solid matrix attached the surface. Once established, it is very difficult to eliminate because the microbes have become reinforced and extremely tight in the matrix, making them resistant too disinfection.
Staph is a bacteria that can survive on dry surfaces, increasing the chance of transmission. Staphlococcus aureus has been implicated in toxic shock syndrome. During the 1980's some contaminated tampons allowed rapid growth of Staph bacteria, which released toxins into the bloodstream of the victims and the infection caused the staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome, a cutaneous reaction to the exotoxin absorbed into their bloodstream. Staph can also cause a type of septicaemia called pyaemia. All Staph infections can be life-threatening. MRSA - (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) is problematic becoming a major cause of hospital-acquired infections, and is recognized with increasing frequency also in community-acquired infections. MRSA is, by definition, any strain of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria that has developed resistance to beta-lactam antibiotics, which include the penicillins (methicillin, dicloxacillin, nafcillin, oxacillin, etc.) and the cephalosporins. MRSA is especially troublesome with patients that have open wounds, invasive devices and weakened immune systems. These people are at greater risk of infection than the general public.
Hospital Acquired Infections The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that in 2002, nearly 100,000 people died with a hospital-acquired infection (HAI), while an estimated 1.7 million people became infected. All in all, more people die per year in the U.S. with an HAI than from AIDS, breast cancer, and car accidents combined. A report published by the CDC (2009) estimates that HAIs cost the U.S. healthcare system between $28 and $33 billion per year.
Over 70% of the disinfectants used are toxic and being used to poison germs and bacteria. Side effect of this poison can cause other health-related issues, and some more ominous as the mutation they cause. This mutation of germs and bacteria have created the Superbugs we find today. This new superbugs that have been created by this resistant strain are immune to these toxic disinfectants. So not only are we suffering from side effects of poisons used to kill germs, they aren’t even killing germs like they used to. The disinfectant/cleaner we utilize does kill these Superbugs and work without the toxic side effects and do not allow any mutation.
Our biocide is an approved Hospital Grade Disinfectant. It has been tested effective as a sporicide, germicide, bactericide, fungicide. The proprietary formulation makes it a unique disinfection system. It has been tested effective against the most harmful virus, bacteria, fungi, and spores. It has the highest efficacy, is non-harmful to humans, nor the environment and is so easy to use. It will not produce a harmful residue or noxious odor. It will eliminate malodors from smoke, urine, vomit, bodily fluids, sulfur, ammonia and much more. It is able to kill and remove the most resilient molds and spores. It is a broad spectrum disinfectant cleaner able to fulfill many responsibilities in one product.
Electrostatic spraying is an electrically charges spray that completely envelopes the object or surface being sprayed insuring complete coverage. In the fluorescent dye photo shown to the left, notice the even, complete coverage on the ball sprayed using electrostatics. The dyed spray was able to wrap around the ball on the left for even coating. However, the knob on the right was sprayed with the electrostatic system “off”. Without electrostatics the spray coverage is so uneven that the back side of the knob remains untouched and is able to reflect the evenly-coated electrostatic knob. The spray is condensed to 30-60 microns and the electrical charge gives it a much stronger than gravity pull, so the molecules find something to grab on to instead of just falling to the ground.
We use a process called ATP testing, with a hand-held luminometer that reads the residue collected from a swab and gives you a contaminant score in minutes. ATP is produced by almost all living things in their cell’s organelles called mitochondria. It stands for adenosine triphosphate and it is the major ‘currency’ of energy in the body. It is not energy itself, but rather temporarily “stores” energy in its phosphodiester bonds (the bonds between the phosphate groups of the ATP molecule).
